WEEK 21, PART 2: Valentine's Day Cookies

These are by far the most festive cookies I've made to-date, and they were a lot of fun to do. The process is a little labor intensive, but not complicated. It starts with two half batches of dough, one with pink food coloring added. Once the dough has chilled for a bit, we roll out each and cut into small strips. Then you alternate the strips to get the striped look and place saran wrap on the top and roll them again so they can blend together. As a bonus, I took the scraps and added them together, which created a really cool tie-dye effect to the cookies.

Recipe here from Preppy Kitchen.
