WEEK 5: GOOEY BUTTER COOKIES

A cookie twist on a St. Louis classic, these turned out great! I've never actually made a Gooey Butter cake so maybe that's next. These definitely had a cake-y texture instead of a gooey texture, but still good.


I went with an Erhardts Eat recipe for this, but every recipe I found called for the same ingredients. For a few of them rolled them in sprinkles instead of powdered sugar and they were so cute. I'm on the hunt for a good one that doesn't use pre-made cake mix.
